About me and my practice

I have extensive experience helping clients manage a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including stress, low self-esteem, and personal development challenges. My practice is rooted in creating a collaborative and empathetic environment where clients feel supported and understood.

Experience

I obtained my diploma in psychotherapy in 2001 and have since built a diverse career working across various settings, including private practice, community organizations, and mental health services. Over the years, I have supported individuals with a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. I believe in a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy, meaning I work collaboratively with each client to understand their unique experiences and develop tailored strategies to support their well-being.

A significant part of my practice has involved working with individuals on improving communication, emotional connection, and resolving conflict within relationships. I also specialize in the dynamics of the mother-adult daughter and father-adult daughter relationships, areas that can often impact an individual's ability to form and maintain healthy romantic relationships. Understanding these core family dynamics is key to resolving deep-rooted issues and promoting healthier interactions in all areas of life.

In addition to individual therapy, I have experience facilitating group therapy and personal development workshops. These workshops focus on personal empowerment, self-esteem building, and overcoming relational challenges. My mother-daughter and father-daughter workshops are specifically designed to explore the complexities of these relationships, encouraging understanding, healing, and improved communication.
